Volunteer Support for A  Breath of Humanity

Breath of Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals facing adversity through support, community engagement, and resource distribution. Our mission is to empower communities and foster a culture of compassion and generosity.

 

Position Overview:

As a Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our programs and initiatives. Your efforts will help enhance our outreach, increase awareness, and directly contribute to the positive impact we aim to make in people's lives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Event Support: Assist in organizing and facilitating community events, workshops, and fundraisers to promote our mission and engage the public.

•  Outreach and Awareness: Help spread the word about Breath of Humanity’s programs through social media, local events, and community organizations. Distribute promotional materials and communicate our mission to potential supporters and volunteers.

•  Administrative Assistance: Support the administrative team with tasks such as data entry, filing, and responding to inquiries via email and phone.

•  Resource Distribution: Aid in the collection, sorting, and distribution of supplies and resources to individuals and families in need.

•  Community Engagement: Establish connections with community members to identify needs and areas where our organization can provide assistance.

•  Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback from program participants and volunteers to help improve our services. Assist in reporting findings to the team.

 

Qualifications:

•  Strong passion for community service and social impact.

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•  Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

•  Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn.

•  Basic computer skills are preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

•  

Time Commitment:

•  Flexible hours to accommodate volunteers’ schedules. A minimum of 5 hours per week/month is preferred.
