Cancer can change everything in an instant—your routines, your relationships, your sense of safety. And when cancer takes someone you love, the world can feel painfully quiet in a way that’s hard to explain. If you’re living with cancer, caring for someone who is, or grieving a loss, this is a place to exhale. A place where you can be met with kindness, understood without having to explain, and reminded that you are not alone.
I created this community after losing both of my parents to terminal cancer. I know how heavy the fear, the waiting, the decisions, and the after can feel—and how much it helps to be able to say the quiet parts out loud. My hope is that this space offers you the kind of comfort and understanding I once needed: a place to share, to remember, and to keep going, one day at a time.
Here, we hold space for the whole story—fear and hope, exhaustion and courage, uncertainty and love. This is an online community for sharing and reading real experiences of treatment, survivorship, caregiving, and grief, along with the small moments of light that help us keep going. There’s no pressure to be “strong,” and no need to find perfect words. You can share your own story, respond to others, or simply read quietly until you’re ready. However you arrive, you belong.
Ready to take the next step? If your heart is looking for a place to land, I invite you to become a member of our online community—a space rooted in lived experience and built for gentleness. Create an account to share your story, offer encouragement, and connect with others who understand—or begin by reading quietly and letting others’ words keep you company. Your privacy matters: share only what you feel comfortable sharing, use a first name or nickname if you prefer, and avoid posting personal details (like addresses or phone numbers). Member information is used only to support the community experience and isn’t shared publicly. If you have questions—or want help getting started—contact us
